The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority's Administration and E-ZPass offices will be closed on Monday, September 5th, 2016 for Labor Day.

The next Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority Board Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 8:30 am, at the Authority's office in Jamestown.

Current Requests For Proposals

  • Contract 16-7 - Deck and Miscellaneous Concrete Repairs for the Mount Hope Bridge:  RITBA is soliciting proposals for qualified contractors to perform a variety of concrete repairs at the Mount Hope Bridge.  Bids are due by 4:00 pm on August 30, 2016.  Read more information on Contract 16-7.

 

  • Contract 16-15 - On-Call Civil Highway and Bridge Miscellaneous Repairs:  Plans and specifications for Contract 16-15 - On-Call Highway and Bridge Miscellaneous Repairs on Route 138 Corridor Newport to Route 1A are available now.  Bids are due by 4:00 pm on August 29, 2016.  Review the description of Contract 16-15.  Read important information in the Notice to Contractors and access the required Confidentiality Agreement.

RITBA "Mount Your E-ZPass Transponder" Campaign

The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority has launched a campaign to urge motorists using the Newport Pell Bridge to properly mount their E-ZPass transponder.  Read the full announcement here.

Newport Bridge painting project and deck repairs will continue through November with periodic lane closures.

Mt. Hope Bridge construction to start in late September.
