Presidents’ Day 2022

The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority Administration Offices will be closed on Monday, February 21, 2022, in observance of Presidents’ Day. The E-ZPass Office will remain open on Presidents’ Day with the following hours of operation: Walk-in Center Hours: 9:00 am-1:00 pm and Call Center Hours: 9:00 am-5:00 pm

 

ALERT: FULL WIND RESTRICTIONS ON NEWPORT PELL AND JAMESTOWN BRIDGES

The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority has increased vehicle restrictions on the Newport Pell and Jamestown Verrazzano Bridges. Only automobiles, pickup trucks, flatbed trailers, and commercial buses are permitted to cross the bridge.  All other vehicles are prohibited from travel across the bridges.

The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority has increased vehicle restrictions on the Mount Hope Bridge. Only automobiles, pickup trucks, flatbed trailers, and commercial buses are permitted to cross the bridge.  All other vehicles are prohibited from travel across the bridges.

Only automobiles, pickup trucks, flatbed trailers, and commercial buses are permitted to cross the bridges.  All other vehicles are prohibited from travel across the bridges.

ALERT: NEWPORT PELL AND JAMESTOWN BRIDGES HAVE REOPENED WITH RESTRICTIONS

The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority is lifting restrictions on the Newport Pell and Jamestown Verrazzano Bridges for all but high profile vehicles. Automobiles, pickup trucks, flatbed trailers and commercial buses may cross these bridges. Note: school buses are not permitted at this time.
