Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority uses the following to be more environmentally conscious:

  • PEP charging stations; 1 East Shore Rd. station is FREE
  • Recycling plan for e-waste, cardboard, paper, plastic, glass and wood
  • Recycling of ink cartridges
  • LED Lighting on the Newport Pell Bridge and Mount Hope Bridge
