Fall 2010 Rte. 138 EB and WB on the Pell (Newport) Bridge, various lane closures for painting and steel repairs by the R.I. Turnpike & Bridge Authority, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. At least one lane in each direction will remain open. The speed limit on the bridge is 40 mph. |

A highway advisory radio (HAR) broadcast is available at the Pell Bridge and on Admiral Kalbfus Blvd. in Newport. Tune to 1630 AM for up-to-the-minute traffic information while driving.
