The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority has lifted travel restrictions on the Newport Pell and Jamestown Verrazzano Bridges. All bridges are open for normal travel.

TRAVEL ADVISORY: The Newport Pell Bridge Jamestown on-ramp from Conanicus Ave. to Rt. 138 eastbound will be closed today from 11AM to 2PM for repaving. Detour signs will be posted.
TRAVEL ADVISORY: Newport Pell Bridge – Lane closures and traffic pattern changes this weekend from Friday, March 28th at 9 AM through Monday, March 31st at 6 AM.
TRAVEL ADVISORY: Beginning Wednesday evening, April 9th, at 6:00 PM, crews will shift the median barrier on the Newport Pell Bridge to create a one-lane-in-each-direction traffic pattern that will remain in place until Thursday, April 10th, at 2:00 AM.
